His work lies in the blending of his writings, which are graphic, pure and very contemporary, while echoing our origins when these faces appear, the character of his work, and the way in which he has created his work.
For this is the subject of predilection: the human body and its partial or total deconstruction.
Contorted bodies are light, and give us the illusion that they float. Of these imaginary and enigmatic beings, there is only the feet and the hands. Their round and bewitching eyes surrounded by black, stare, observe, question and offer faces with a masked look.
There are no rules, the anatomy of these androgynous and timeless bodies evolves and seems to be in full mutation. The limbs become entangled in geometric shapes and disappear one behind the other as if they were changing before our eyes.
These deformed beings testify to the paradox that exists today between a permanent technological evolution or even obsession and a return to values or to natural and past ways of life.
Amose superimposes, mixes the mediums and varies the supports, it is a mixture of collages, serigraphs, inks, and acrylic. Old architect’s plans or wood supports are privileged to the canvas by the artist that he finds too fragile and cold to his taste, wood has this lively, warm, and solid side that can be more easily scratched, rubbed, printed, covered.
The body also knows how to dislocate itself completely to create more abstract compositions in order to free itself from a figuration and an anatomy that is certainly very unbridled but sometimes too directive.
